The Virtual 3D Opera project became a natural continuation of our cultural digitalization expertise and proved AESTAR’s ability to deliver complex interactive experiences. Our goal was not simply to show a performance in a digital format, but to recreate the entire visitor journey — from the theatre’s exterior to the immersive atmosphere of the concert hall.
To achieve this, we developed three unique 3D environments with a high level of detail, providing audiences with a step-by-step immersion into the event. We implemented a dynamic camera system that enables viewers to select their seat and adjust perspectives, synchronized stage and lighting animations, and integrated a fully animated orchestra with uniquely designed instruments. A distinctive feature was the virtual binocular, giving users an extra layer of interactivity and realism.
