To develop an interactive system that allows visitors of museums and cultural centers to explore Ukrainian heritage — view 3D exhibits, learn their stories, and virtually try on traditional clothing.

At AESTAR, we believe technology can do more than impress — it can preserve culture. For the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, we developed a one-of-a-kind Interactive Virtual Museum System that bridges tradition and innovation in a seamless digital experience.
The system has two parts.
The first is a Windows application, designed for smart mirrors and touch screens in museums and cultural venues. It features Ukrainian and English languages, an adaptive design, and accessibility-friendly interaction.
Visitors can explore photos and 3D models of authentic Ukrainian items — from traditional clothing to everyday household objects. Each exhibit includes detailed information: origin, creator, materials, techniques, and fun facts.
The highlight is a virtual try-on feature, where users can select traditional outfits, choose a background, take a photo, and instantly save it via QR code.
The second part is an admin panel, giving curators full control over content: adding new exhibits, editing descriptions, uploading photos and 3D models, and viewing detailed statistics on user activity and virtual fittings.
Powered by JavaScript, Three.js, and Tauri, the system delivers smooth performance, realistic visualization, and seamless integration with Google services for secure photo storage.
This project is more than a technical achievement — it’s a digital bridge between heritage and innovation, allowing visitors to rediscover the beauty of Ukrainian culture through interactive experience.
